A computer can be compromised when watching a Windows Media file which contains special code embedded that allows an attacker to take control over the computer. If a user with less rights than administrator opens the Windows Media file with the exploitable code embedded, the effects could be less of an impact on overall system compromise. Microsoft has rated this as a Critical update!
