A “Stop 0×9F” error occurs when resuming from sleep or hibernation on a Windows Vista computer that is connected to an IEEE 1394-based device.

The message that you may receive should resemble something like the following:

STOP 0×0000009F (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)
DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

To resolve this issue, please download the following update depending on the Windows arch:
